You sure went to a lot of effort to insulate an intake that sucks in hot air to begin with.

Im guessin the stock air box is colder though huh?? in my opinion youre not gettin a true colder/denser air unless you cut a whole in your wheel well.. and i didnt really want to do that.. and actually the air filter just misses the flow of air coming through the radiator so im sure it grabs most of the air from below in the gap between the radiator and the engine.. the purpose of the insulation was to keep the "metal" from heating up from the radiator hose and excess heat from the engine.. seeing as it is soo close to that hose.. whats funny is why injen made the brace for the intake to mount to the radiator coupler and not the body or somthing (which i fixed).. that intern heats up the intake and air passing through it more than the position of the filter..

Yes, it is. The OEM intake gets all of it's air from the scoop that reaches over the radiator. This gets nice cool air coming right in the grill.

maybe like 2-3 degrees cooler once it hits the throttle body.. plus im sure the injen flows better.. and has better throttle response..

Better throttle response? I've never heard that before.

Glad to see that you recognize what a true cold intake is, definitely not Injen.

BTW, this is just my opinion to share to you. I also have a tan interior (which I wished I didn't have). The CF trimming in a tan interior is just not happening. I can see brushed aluminum complementing it more. Or if some company really wants to help out the tan-interior guys, they could hook us up with an anodized simulated bronze trimming which I personally think would be hot.

Still, I think your car is heading towards the right direction.

Nice pics, nice car, alot of hating on here for that intake though...I need to look into getting one myself and I think I'm leaning towards the PR one. The one negative thing I noticed about your cardomain was that I got tired of reading the phrase "pics of my..." , but hey, I'm really picky. Keep up the good work

alc252dm i couldnt agree more with your statement about the bronze annodized dash kit.. i was really leary when i was purchasing the carbon fiber.. i didnt know how it would look.. once i installed it i still didnt like the fact that it was as light as it is.. i was hoping for a darker color.. closer to black.. but on the other hand i loved the way it glimmers in the light.. i had thought about doing the brushed aluminum seriously.. until i saw some pics of it installed on a tan interior, and i dont know it just looked cheap to me.. but thats my opinion.. i think you are right though if someone would make a bronze one to accomodate our tan interior.. the tan interior and the automatic transmission are the two things i most dislike about my car.. but hey i still love the car.. preciate the constructive criticism and not a flame..

rosamax.. yeah i noticed that the other day.. i plan on changing that.. it is kind of repetitive.. just havent gotten around to it.. im also going to retake some of the pics.. like the night time pics and the pics of the body in the daytime.. some are blurry and then of course the sunlight wasnt helping me out that day.. but thanks for checking me out..

i had the hardest time trying to find that thing.. i couldnt ever find one on a website or anything.. i ended up buy mine used from I30tMikeD.. he had it on his car and took it off.. but he only had one.. i remember though that someone was selling some cefiro parts in the GD forum.. i dont have the thread but if you can find it.. then you could probably contact the person who was selling all that stuff and see if they could get you one..
