hey i was lookin around on cardomain one day, and i saw some guy out in long island (i think hes the owner of maximum tuning) has a like a light blue maxima, sweet lookin max, with a six speed in it. is that correct. any ways i couldnt find the site again. if anyone knows it can u pm me the link, i wanna see it again. i think he was max of the month once and i think his name was jeff, if im correct.

and from what I heard it's not worth it.

 

tilley took all the time to put a 6spd in his and got fed up and is putting my old 5spd in now.... he says it was too much hassle, and the 6spds dont hold up as well or something, either.... stick with a 5 speed....

 

5speeds = less drivetrain loss. They seem to handle boost well too.

 

Not only that...someone used Cartest with the ratios of the 6-speed and there are virtually NO performance advantages. The only plus side is the lazy 6th gear for better highway MPG.
