wheel hop

everytime i WOOOT in 1st gear my car starts hopping around like a crazy *** *****. I dunno if its that my tires are just bald and its loosing tractions...but it also happens in dry weather...or its might engine mounts are bad??? If engine mounts how hard/easy are they to install?? Thanks

I found that my problem with wheel hop was quite diminished after I got better tires. I believe the hopping is due to the tires gripping, losing traction, gripping again, losing trac....and so on.
SO if the tires never lose grip, they can't hop like that. I never get wheel hop in the dry anymore, but I still get it sometimes at WOT on wet roads...but I shouldn't be going WOT on wet roads anyway.

i had hella wheel hop too for the longest time when i launch my car. Stuff in my car in the comparments started flying at me when my wheel was hoping i just lowered my car 2 weeks ago and now there is very minimal hop and is smooth as hell. Oh and the reason why it was hopping so much i pulled off the springs and pushed the struts in to test it and guess what did didn't come back up...

Ttires and ES motor mounts will help the problem a lot. I have both sitting at my house. I am just waiting for my rims to come in and for me to have enough time to get the motor mounts pressed in.

They are not horribly difficult. You just have to get them pressed into the stock sleeve. You are going to have to go to a shop to get this done.
