tune up

car just hit 114K so im thinkin might as well do a tune up since i gotta get a oil change ne wayz.....what all do u guys recomend as far as like plugs and filter and shyt like that and just stuff to make my car happier

This is going to cost you. The Max doesn't use the traditional plugs and wires. You can change all the Plugs, but I would reccomend replacing all the ignition coils as well. The run $60-$70 each.

if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Leave the ignition coils alone, get NGK Plats or Coppers, (shouldnt cost you too much), change your air filter, clean your TB, and maybe run seafoam through the system. That, along with the usual fluid fills, will make your car "happy" again. Also, get some air freshener, ladies love a clean smelling car.

the NGK plats are 12 bucks a piece?? is that fukin rite?

Yes. But the copper NGK plugs work just as well. They are only $2 each. The coppers only last about 30k miles, instead of 60k for the plats.

It's still more cost effective to use coppers.

If haven't done in the last 15k miles, do change the fuel filter ... maybe after using seafoam !?!?!

some guy at nissan today told me that the coppers wud melt or something resulting my max to run like shyt...prollly just wanted me to spend more money but i got the 2 dollar ngk i didnt go w/ the plats
