Windows Slow Rollin

Just got tint recently and I noticed there's a nice, fuller sound to the windows rollin up and down, but then for whatever reason my Driver's Door tint started to bubble at the bottom left corner and I've yet to let them redo it for free. I don't know if it's coincidental or what but my window BARELY goes down and up now. One time in the rain it got stuck, but after constant trying it finally went back up and I was scared to touch it again.

I don't know if it's my motor? The tint being bubbled? The cold winter? A combination of 2 or all 3? Anybody else have/had a problem(s) like this? Also, just to let you know the Driver window is the worst, the Pass. is slow but still hasn't failed me yet and the rear 2 are perfectly fine.

its more than likely your motor is going out. tint has nothing to do with it slowing down the motor.over the last year my driver side window is rolling up slower and slower. if you use it alot then its probley going out.

That happened to me once; I just sprayed some kind of special silicon from Autozone on the inside ruber channels around windows with windows all way down and rolled windows up and down a few times and bingo, problem solved; I think rubber was dry; just becareful not to spray the tint or let silicon touch tint as per will decolor it. Hope that fixes it for about $2-3 dls; otherwise will be your motor. Good luck

good call on the silicon lubricant. mine has been getting slower and slower as well, so i'll try that before going and spending money on a new motor.

How will I get it to NOT touch the tint? Tint is already on my windows, so if I rolled them down and then spray into the slot it would run down the tinted glass.

LOL. Good point. Guess I wasn't very clear. Put your windows all the way up. Take the spray and spray the black liner at the top of the door panel, where the door panel touches the window. Do the same on the outside too. Allow the silicon to dry. It won't smear if it's dried. And if your tint was applied well, the tint will not peel off.

As for greasing the tracks and motors, you'll hafta remove the door panel and it's self explanatory after that.

Usually the silicone spray will solve most slow window issues.
