Really? Now I don't know what to do. I got OEM because I had been hearing about KYBs ripping alot, but when cutting the bumpstops the rears aren't going to stay up (the fronts will be fine). You zip tied the bottom to the shock (or is it strut...I can never remember )? Is it staying in place alright like that? how much did you cut the bumpstop?

As far as the KYBs, I had some trouble finding them. You have to go under '95 miata for the Sb108s. I assume you'll have to go under '95 mustang for the Sb103's.

By asking how much did he cut the bumpstop, you're asking how much did he cut the dustboot, correct?

No. Both OEM and KYB boots have integrated bump stops (a chunk of rubber that lessens the impact a bit when you bottom out the suspension). The KYB's are already shorter so you don't need to cut them.

when I ordered my kyb struts/shocks for my minivan from TireRack, I just added the kyb boots too. Not sure if they're that much cheaper elsewhere.
