Although, I like the WSP y-pipe, mainly for the price that I paid for it. Two problems I do not like. First, I still getting those bees in the can and I also noticed that there is a banging noise like the pipe is hitting against something. Maybe I should have got the new Cattman y-pipe? I took my car to a muffler shop to ask them about the banging noise. The guy said there was nothing wrong with the pipe. Somehow, I don't think the guy really checked everything. Any ideas how to get rid of the banging and bees in the can?

WSP install
Most people have not reported much if any problems with the "bees in a can sound" We are looking into and will be flow testing the new lined flex sections next week. As far as the wrapping, if your pipe is the SS version, wrapping should not be a problem.
As far as the sound that you hear, several users have had a problem with the bracket at the Cat/y-pipe junction. We did an install last week on a 96. The bracket that hangs down on the passengers side was the problem. It was easily corrected by bending it towards midline with a screw driver. The rubber hanger should then hang straight down. If the drivers side is off a little, I would bent it slighty as well. I have not heard back from anyone who has had a similar problem that this simple fix did not work on. Please call or e-mail us if this is not the case.

Just to back you up Dan when I put your y-pipe on even with our small problem that is being fixed as I type this, once my pipe was on it acctually got rid of the rattle that had been ****ing me off for the past month, that was the next greatest thing next to the power increase, as far as bees in a can go, if I think this sounds like what I think it sounds like, with my Tsudo muffler and b-pipe I had the sound allready, however the y-pipe did make the noise level increase alot

Cool Matt, let me know when you're free. Btw, congrats on the house. How big is your new house? If it's big enough, can we use it as the New Orleans Maxima Krewe headquarter?
