Just Got My new Max

hey Guys,
I have been viewing this website since the summer of 2004, and i finnally sold my Madza626 and bought a Used 97 Nissan Maxima with 145,000 miles for only $1900

I have a couple of questions.

1. How do i know what model i have SE, GXE or GLE?

2. How Do i know if mine came with a remote/alarm?
(I have the blinking security light)

3. Half of the lights on my Spoiler is out., what #bulbs we use ?

anyone please?

the only thing that was wrong with it, its the rear axle, we had to change the whole bar thing that connects both back tires. and that cost $510 parts & labor. I drove the car around for a couple of days, and it had no problem.

Mine has no Leather, but the interior is black. The rims on it now is some 16" chrome 3 spoke rims, the guy sold it with the car.

i have another quick question, does Maximas have the anti theft for the radio in the car?Like for example, when you take the battery out, do you need a special code in order to activite the things in the car? because mine doesnt seem to come on at all, it has a Pioneer cd player.

Are your exterior door handles chrome? If so, GXE.

does it have white faced guages and a rear spoiler? If it does then you have a SE. If you have those two, considering that you dont have leather its probably a GXE.Is your grill chrome(GXE,GLE) or body color(SE). Chrome door handles(GXE, GLE) body color (SE).

On the stock head unit, no...but since you have an aftermarket there might be a chance that you need a security code or CD. Do you know what year and model the head unit is?

Nice find. Cheap.

How come you changed the whole rear "axle"? Was it making noises?

I gotta do something about the rear noises of my max some day, it's been making clinking noises for years.......I read along time ago it could be my lateral link, though I don't see alot of info on that here(besides changing shocks and associated hardware...which i've already done with some kyb's).
