I need to know if are dimmer dims the display part of the climate control.

in a word Yes.
Dosn't dim the clock. Does dim dash lights, radio, auto climate control, window switches in the front. I think that's it.
Good luck and put up some pictures when done.

Thats what i needed to know. i guess mine is screwed because it doesn't dim.
