My First Max

Just bought my first max, its a 98 GXE with with 96,000. I got it for a steal for only $6,000. I've had it for a month and all I can say is wow, I'm really impressed. This is my third car and by far the best. Being a college student I'm strapped for cash so performance mods are out of the question...for now. But speakers, tint, and some clears are a must!

Welcome to the Org. Read the FAQ's, and ask any non-noobish questions.

that link will guide you with many questions. There are mods that you can do for very cheap. But beware. once you start, you won't be able to stop. ask the guy here.

NIce Max Welcome to the org.

Get some Clear Corners, Red/Clears for the back, wash and Wax. She'll already look like a whole new car.

Nice choice, you'll be very happy. One thing though WOW looking at that i can definitely tell my car is lowered. looks like theres 6 inches between the wheel and the wheel well in that first pic.

Welcome to the org. Nice clean maxima. You should go to the for sale section, usually performance parts there are cheap, usually you can find just about what you need.

Nice car, even nicer color, i'd invest in a drop first! missouri roads aren't that bad but of course you'll do ur modding as you see fit, welcome to the .org and have fun. You might want to start by investing in some maintenance stuff, new plugs, fuel filter, air filter, check your knock sensor and o2 sensors (well just check the ecu for any ghost codes)

Those wheels were offered at the dealer in 98. Maybe before and after that, but when I bought my car in '98, they had them on the showroom floor as a dealer installed option.

Check my site for my favorite burgundy/rosewood max
