Writeup for 95/96 red/clears
Writeup for 95/96 red/clears
This write up is not as detailed as I would want it to be since I have not done this on my own, so contributions from those who use it to complete their own tails (including pics) would be VERY helpful.
PM me if you have any corrections, suggestions or would like to email me pics, etc.

Good luck! I only made this because jackiss2888 will not publish a how-to. If he is reading this and would like to collaborate, it would be a great contribution to the Maxima community.

i made a quick write up to cause someone didnt want to share their, you can add it with your ort somthing so people get a variety.
I dont have pics but its a simple writeup.
Some one need to get directions and pics of taking aprt the altesza, it is alittle more fragile.
You need a pair of stock tail lights and a set of altezzas.
1.Take apart both sets ( the oven method or heat gun method like for the 97 lights) be careful with the altezzas , they are more fragile.
2.Tape up the top half of the clear altezza lens and paint the bottom half with transpart red paint, light coats so i matches( let it dry good and becareull not to put to many coats).
3.Cut of a peice of acrelic lens(home depot lighting stuff) to put in the top half of the light, ortherwise it would be to clear and not match. (this is probubly the hardest part in the hole prosses)
4 .Then put the painted altezza lens on top of the housing from the stock tail light( you may have to dremal some edges for perfect fit).
5. Heat it back to get as it was takin apart.
6. Tape up the lights and Paint the silver band accros the side black (this is optional ).
7. folow the same prosses to the inners for a even better match (optional)

I think only one has done it because no one else had currently tried.
And most probably won't do this until they find out if the klearz guy is going to come through on his taillight mold project for red/clear taillights.
