they look like the spring-and-sleeve type of coilover, and likely a very low quality one at that. if you don't know about spring-and-sleeve type coilovers, you can learn about them.

you'd have to buy your own struts, or, heaven forbid, use the stock ones, for these.

i'm gonna go ahead and give a big thumbs down to these.

Those dont imporve handling at all and your ride quality wont be as good as with springs or D2 r JIC style coilovers

But if you just want looks and just want to slam those will do the job, they are the same thing as ground control and weapon R..

any lower of a drop and higher spring rating will improve handling

you are incorrect, this would mean that cutting springs and heating them will also improve handleing?

Just cause you lower a car doesnt mean it will handle better, spring and sleeve coilovers dont have any specs as to spring rates or chamber adustment or anything.

These will make your car look hot but wont improve your handling...

thanks for helping me prove my point, these are on ebay and they dont give you the chance to pick spring rates or anything. So you just just get what ever spring rate they got and hopefully you dont bottom out.

Yup those camber plates are what he would also need to get a proper alighment.

Even tho his ride will still be ****.

Thats why people pay big buck for JIC's, D2's , and tiens, because they actually imporve handling.

those look just like GCs; not true coilovers such as JICs, Teins, or D2s. I wouldn't get those because I had GCs once they were horrible.

dude i wasnt talking about the about the ones on ebay i was refering to your original post when you said sleeve type coilovers cant use camber plate and didnt have diff spring rating and sucked and blah blah blah.. if you put gc on a set illuminias and set them up right you will get better handling w/ ride hieght adj

do you think 9/7 d2 have a "comfy" ride ??
