arggg wiring problems and fuse problems.
So here's what I did. I re-did my led's in my auto climate control and did a different wiring scheme thinking it would be better. There are 4 led's and I put on each led [ pos/neg wire, proper resistor ]. So i have 8 wires coming from the 4 led's. I patched each 4 pos and 4 neg to the power source. I turned on my accessory lights and my fuse pops, none of my gauges/interior lights/blinkers work. There is regularly a 7.5 amp in there. (Interior illumination)
What I would like to know is when I tested it, it was fine. Then when I screw everything in, problems began. Would it be advisable to put in a 20 fuse in place of the 7.5? Would that be a safeguard or would that make it worse?
edit:: also there are 4 fuses plugged in vertically on the right side of the fusebox. are yhose functioning? or just spares? I really can't drive out to buy fuses without blinkers.

i use to have mine done like this...i just ran power from my dimmer light. and no problems. doing it this way is very messy and unreliable cause it will go out sometime. what i did i used the brown plastic things that hold the bulbs and put the leds in there. then i used a resistor and wraped the negitive of the led and the positive of the led and resistor on the sides and plugged them right in
