02 Sensor Help

Got code 0412 which is Front 02 Sensor. Went to my local auto parts store and got a Bosch Universal 02 Sensor which was about $30 cheaper than the OEM one. Is there any reason why this Bosch won't do the job or should I return it and always stick with OEM for the 02 Sensor?

When the guy at the parts store pulled up the part number, his screen told him that two sensors were required for the pre-cat 02 Sensor. It said the same for the rear 02 Sensor listing. I always thought there were only 2 sensors, one near the exhaust manifold (front) and one near the muffler (rear), but his listing inferred that you needed 2 sensors for each. Can anyone spread some light on this?

Thanks.

I think that the Bosch will do fine. Everyone will have a different opinion on this though. I've installed quite a few of them by Bosch (however they weren't on a Maxima) and they worked fine.
