Check Engine 0707 question

So i had a mild accident and the check engine light came on. When i pulled the code it came up as 0707 which is rear heated O2 sensor. However i had actually replaced that sensor about 8 months ago. Is it possible to have it malfunction already? The damage from the accident was in the front so i don't think it was caused by that. The light had actually come on about 3 days after the accident. Any thoughts?

have a look up under the car and see if the sensor looks snug, once i hit a huge rock which smacked up and knocked my rear o2 all out of whack, which resulted in the code for me. just one idea in problem solving.
