your car does not look like it has been dropped, it has a worse wheel gap then my stock car. I have seen this setup on BlueC's maxima but i want to see it on more then one car. Anyone else that has this set up, please post pictures.

thanks

I'm happy with my maxspeed/gr-2 setup... it doesn't by any means looks slammed to the ground, it just looks like it should have looked from the factory in the first place.

Yea, those are the 17" 2001 AE edition wheels.

For the tires, I have Bridgestone Potenza RE730's, size 205/50R17... awesome tires.

How's that setup ride? I'm thinking about going that route once i get the cash for a new suspension setup.
Thanks,
John

It's definitely a change from the stock suspension, but I think it was a good change. It's just more stiff, and much more sporty feeling. It's not very harsh at all... friends who ride in my car comment that my car rides very comfortably, so I figure it's okay as long as I'm not getting any complaints. And I like not having that bouncy feeling that some cars get when you lower them... like at night when you see a car's headlights bouncing up and down as they pass over every crack in the road because they've lowered their car and used really harsh springs. Yea... you don't get that with the Maxspeeds.

The main reason that I went with the Maxspeeds is because everything I read at the time said they were the closest to stock feel.

As far as the GR-2's, I have no complaints. Nice and smooth.

no...

My speedometer is off by ~1 or 2 mph though (as far as I can tell from those radar things they set up on the side of the road that tell you your speed). Those things usually say I'm going about 2 MPH slower than my speedometer says I'm going.

I wanted pretty low-profile tires, so that's why I went with what I went with. This summer I think I'm going to try out the new Fuzions... they're cheaper and they seem to be getting fairly decent reviews.
