changing the color of the gauges

i've seen pics of guys who have put in oragne or purple lights in their gauges. i was wondering how and where you could do this and if it was expensive..caus i must admit it does look really cool! thanx

I used cheapo AutoZone red #194 bulbs, they've looked great for over 4 years:
