Steering wheel issue

I once hit a curb and my alignment got messed up, i had the car aligned $50. not by computer, the guy called it front end alignment, and said he does it better. anyways the steering wheel is a drop off the center when i am going straight, the wheels are aligned but the steering wheel is off center. if i hold the wheelstraight 100% i will veer off the road. if i let go it is a drop off center but will remain straight.

what must be done?

Go back and tell him that your steering wheel is not centered. They will adjust both tie rod ends equally to make the steering wheel center. That will not effect the alignment at all and takes only a few minutes.

I had the same problem in the past. No matter how they adjust it. My steering wheel just too loose. I gave up adjusting it.
