I drive in some pretty heavy fog at nite and can't see much at all. I have 85 watt plain piaa bulbs in stock se housing. Are any of the yellow or other colored bulbs any better in fog?
Any suggestions appreciated..

Well, just for the plain fact that the lights are yellow, and not white, the advantage is easy to see. Yellow light will cause less glare than a white one will.

I know that I like the Yellowstars on my max. They are bright, but I haven't had a chance to try them in fog. I know that Yellow is the desired color to have for fog and you will definately be able to see better than with the white (the white lights will actually tend to blind you as it reflects of the moisture). What might be of even more benefit is wiring the fogs to come on with the parking lights, with the yellow fogs and parking, it should make it a lot easier to see.

And yes they look a lot like the fogs on the LS400. . . They are the same intensity, but with the deflector in front of the light it isn't as blinding when driving directly at it. If they are the same lights I am thinking of.
