well that is not intirelly tru there are vq35 parts which can be put into ours and alot of these comps that make the 35 will make stuff for our car like rods but it is expensive.

If you want like a stroker kit you can use pathfinder internals. I believe sombody did this and had succsees i believe he stroked our motors into a 3.3 liter beast.

that sounds good but how much can the engine handle, and how much would a pathfinder internals handle.

the vq30de can hold it's share of boost. It's been proven to take all three F.I. setups, sometimes two at a time. Oh sh.t, you live where I was born!!! I was born on the Air Force Base...

One guy named HlH0501 or something like that, built a turbo pushing 12 psi or there abouts, and was also shooting nitrous, and had over 500 hp.

I think its still going so far, havent seen a thread bout it dying, but it could be hybernating for the winter.

500HP in any car isnt really going to be the safest on wet roads. I think his internals were cryo treated. . . me think check/post over in the tubo sc section you should get decent answers over there.

those are rebuild kits. Not aftermarket internals

People are running over 400whp on stock internals every day. Why go to all the trouble of a build-up for a street car when it can handle it already?

A stock VQ30 that has the correct fuel and ignition mangement can handle 500+ hp and torque. Hal's even saw 600 ft lbs of torque on one dyno pull

They have forged pistons and some other "performance" bearings, etc. I would get rods if I were to put that kit in though. I don't think it is really necessary unless you are already turbo and have hit a major hp limit of the engine.

Tuning is what makes a VQ30 blow under boost most of the time.

Why do you think that? Having a 500hp maxima does not mean you drive around all the time at peak torque. The tranny is gonna give before the motor will

Yes, of course I do, but my 160hp I have at the moment is not that dangerous.
