Lowering springs ??????
Okay, next week i'll finally have the money to buy new springs and struts. I'm deffinitely going with the tociko illuminas, but, as far as the springs go I have a question....Should I go with the tociko springs that they claim to have incuded with the illuminas on ebay that have a 1.2" drop, or the MaxSpeed with the 1.5" drop. The reason I ask is because eventually I will be upgrading to 20" wheels and want to still have room. Does it matter if I get 1.2 or 1.5 in the first place...is there even a noticable differance?

Out of those two go with the tokico's just because they're a better spring. Here's a list and description of the available springs http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaSprings.
And please, please, please don't put 20s on that poor maxima.

Thanks for the list. As far as the 20's....I don't mean chrome. That would really be ugly. I want something close to the style I have in sliver with like a 3-4" polished lip. I think that would look pretty cool for everyday cruisin and showing off. And whenever I feel I wanna go to the track, i'll just put my stocks on.....

correct me if im wrong.. but arent the tokico springs on the maxmods.com site different than the ones sold on ebay.. the ones on the maxmod are the lower springs from custommaxima.com that you can only buy on their site.. the ones on ebay are straight from tokico.. that you get when you order a suspension kit from tokico..

don't know, but i put on the aerospeed 2" drop springs to go with my tokico hp. they ride fine till one day i hit a pot hole at very high speed. the fender guard plastic piece got grinded a little bit.
i had some 17's on. the tire specs are: 245/45/r17.
