its $299 + $175=$374 i was thinking of getting it myself but that $175 shipping just kept scaring me away. i can put that on some more horse power

i live about an hr away from them but i doubt they will waive the shipping charge for me if i pick it up anyways.

I think they may keep posting hood on ebay for a while, I saw this same one from the same buyer on ebay a month back and it was $299 for the hood, with $150 ship I think, so price went down and came back.

I'd e-mail him and ask him if he's going to keep putting the hood back up, cause I'd order it once I get money.

The reflections off that hood aren't very even. Makes me wonder if the graphite cloth was flat during curing.

 

if any one want to loan me the money, i will promptly pay back in the form of oil changes and throttle body cleanings.

well i got it at 99.00 +200 shipping, shipping is outrageous but the hood is cheap so it ballances out. $300 shipped is the same as what was in the GD. lets see if its as good as everyone was saying it is in the GD. i hope i dont have to wait as long for shipping like they did, some still havent got theirs yet and its been like a month plus.

you should have your hood long before them, the guy in he GD have to wait for the hoods to be made, and last i heard they were on #2, so it will be a while. Assuming your is already made, they just have to label and ship, you should see your end of next week maybe.

why cant I have money

 

i got paid today and according to my budget, this will replace my fun money for this week, next week and maybe the week after....but who cares, i usually spend my fun money on videogames and other stupid ****. i was actually gonna get my hood painted which woulda been 180 bux anyway.

i hope ur right tho, im hoping this hood is already made and ready to go.

This is the same Co. that was doing the group deal. All the hoods that were ordered in Dec. are now being made. They pretty much knock one out a week. I dont see why they would send yours out before the others being that they paid way back in December.

300 for shipping is about right. The hoods have to be shipped via frieght and thats not cheap.

 

they have to ship right away... it doesnt say in the auction that you have to wait for the hood to be made but email them to find out...bull****e if they didnt tell you in the auction and made you wait months for it to come

let us know how it fits and looks when you get it man...hopefully they'll have another one soon cause my hood looks like crap.

 

i think the reflection is of the ceiling and i think that's how the ceiling looks like.

 

i emailed them and awaiting response. i doubt that these are made to order in the auction. they would have to mention that in the auction wouldnt they. if thats the way it is and i have to wait 4 weeks plus then i will just have to deal with it i guess. im hoping these are pre-made. if they are made to order then they would have alot of pissed customers (which they do btw, and some are actually for long shipping wait. i read his feedback)

oh well. if i have to wait thats koo, cause right now i still have to get my fender bumper and lip painted which will be done in 2 weeks or so. so by the time the hood gets here my car will be done. ill let you guys know how the fit and finish is. i realize all hoods have minor flaws but i hope my flaws are to a minimal.

 

my hood is odly shaped and I swear at most angles looks like a sylvia(S15), i dont know if thats a good thing or bad, I'll take it as good till I can take off this hood and river dance on it.

damn then you'll probably be waiting just like those in the GD. They didnt say int he auction you'd have to wait but they didnt say you'd have to, you'll find out when you e-mail them.

At that price, you shouldnt complain.
I dont think it would take 4 weeks, maybe, but probably more like 2-3 weeks.
Why do you think it takes so long for them to be shipped, because their made to order. Its not a bad thing though. Id rather have it made to order then premade in Hong Kong or some crap and then transported everywhere. More chances for it to get damaged.

yea thats true. i said im willing to wait thats no prob for the price. but they also have auctions going for 299 buy it now + shipping. now if someone pays that and has to wait 4 weeks than that is crazy.

if they did mention the wait time on the hood then im sure it will turn off alot of buyers as some arent willing to wait even if its a good price. ill wait but i will be a lil uptight if i have to wait like thise in the GD are. some paid in december and still dont have them.

my friend bought the same one off ebay for his maxima in november of last year, he only payed $65 plus the $200 s/h... we're gonna put it on in the spring

why would they keep overloading themselves if they are all on back order. wouldnt they want to catch up and get all thier orders out 1st, and then start making some for the ebay auctions? oh well

i still havent got a response..... they are probably out makin hoods right now. FYI they dont only have auctions for maximas, i saw other hoods for other makes aswell, so they must have a hell of alot of work to do.

ill jus sit back and try to be patient, im on the search for hood pins now, any recomendations.

 

I hope they bring in new help to get these hood out the door fast or they'll have a lot of customers calling wondering where there hood is.

I forgot they would make for other cars, so that mean maybe other GDs are going on for other cars, plus other ebay auctions for hoods for other cars.


Well they are a business and I'd like to think that they atticipated getting alot of orders at once and know how to get the hood done with quality and out the door in a timely fashion
