Is the 5-speed w/limited slip differential in the Canadian maximas the same as the one in the Infiniti I30? And what about the LSD on the 5th gens (2000-2001 5-speed w/VQ30)?

Yes they are the same, at the end of the model number is a V representing LSD. On the Infiniti I believe it is the touring addition that has it.

 

Good luck finding both, they are rare and hard to come by. The 5th gen AE is the only 5spd that has LSD, regular 5spd don't come with it. Only the 130t has LSD in them if they are 5spd, you'll need a new driverside axle too.

 

I already have a LSD (My car is a 1995 canadian maxima) but I was just curious to see if all three versions were the same. I figured the Infiniti, being higher-end, would be a better type of LSD.
