Max is pulling to the right

Tha Max is pulling hard to the right! Not UNBEARABLY bad, but its definitely noticeable and sucks. I know my wheels are 100% balanced correctly cause i sat there while they were getting done on a brand new top of the line machine. Also, I know its not my rims either cause they are brand new.

I haven't gotten an alignment in like 2 years, could that be it possibly? If I didn't need an alignment, what else could is possibly be? any feedback would be appreciated guys! Thanks as always!

Go get an alignment. That'll fix the problem.

you could try moving the tires around and see if it makes a diff.... directional I would just move the right side... swap front and rear.... if it still pulls have the alignment checked and adjusted..... if it does not pull after swapping the tire.... you have "radial tire pull" live with it or replace tire.... you could still do an alignment but it may not be any better..... oh if your tires are not directional swap front from right to left and drive

its definitely not the tire pressure, i just check it last night and its perfect, about 36 lbs all around...its not the tires, none of them are defective they all balanced PERFECTLY on a brand new state of the art balancing machine, and right after they got put on they were fine, it just seems like recently its been pulling more than is usually has..i will try the alignment and see what happens from there..

are places like tires plus and midas and tuffy ok to go to for alignments? i mean i wanna go to a place that knows with they are doing with big wheels, so if normal places cant align a car with 19s properly, i need to find another place

I'm experiencing this at the moment as well. It started after I replaced my snow tires with my Falken 512's. The Falkens being unidirectional I decided it was time to rotate the tires. Haven't had a chance to check the air pressure but I'll do it tonight.

Not everyone can handle alignments on big rims. Just phone around and ask.

Well I took the Max to get an alignment and the camber was a couple degrees off and the toe in was also off slightly. My car STILL pulls to the right, but not nearly as bad. Since I originally purchased the max in 99, she has always pulled to the right slightly, the same amount as now. I want to get this problem fixed!

The guy at Tire Kingdom showed me underneath my car that the bushing in the lower right control arm is bad....it seems that CV joint grease got on it (from a long time ago) and has eaten away at some of the bushing. He says this could possibly be my problem of pulling...what do you guys think? Possible problem fix?

Also, he said you can't replace just that bushing, you have to buy the entire control arm assembly, which is probably a load of sh*t, but I dunno, maybe you guys might know more than me.

Any opinions/thoughts on what I should do and on what has happened so far?

Does this happen more when you accelerate? Could be the motor mounts starting to weaken. I've got the same problem. I'm gonna need to get that fixed soon. hmmm.....

I changed the bushings on my control arms since they were worn. This was a little over a year ago. The guy who first spotted them said it would cost $720 for labor and 2 dealer priced control arms. He said you couldn't just change the bushings. What did I do? I bought ES control arm bushings for $35 and got Sonic Boom, a motorsports place, to replace them for $150. The ES bushings came with instructions and I gave those instructions to the mechanics at Sonic Boom. Motorsports places like those or mechanics that own their own garages can replace those bushings for you easily.

Well that answers some of my questions...thanks man..

Still though, what could cause my car to pull to the right? Could it be the bad bushings? What other ideas you guys gots?

Also, my car doesnt just pull when accelerating, it pulls all the time, even in neutral, so I know its not torque steer...
