Does anyone have any experience with this? My stock cat just rotted away and I need to replace the cat and the pipe before it...Monroe quoted me $$$750.00 to replace it!!!! YIKES

Can I just by this Y pipe off ebay? It looks much better than getting the restrictive stock y-pipe again. I assume I would need new O2 sensors. My Max is a 1995.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

you dont have to have new o2 sensors unless theres something wrong with the old ones. ive heard nothing but good come from warpspeeds products.

save the money- install it yourself.

you can get a cattman also, but it sounds like you want to spend as little as possible. both are great products, the cattman will be a higher quality. i havent thrown any codes.

Hey I got that a few weeks back and just installed today....GET it...it may looks like **** but thats one good f*ckin ypipe.....no bees in can....its completely silent and has same if not more gains then regular warpspeed y pipe.

yep rochester. i've lived here for about 3 years. orginally from chicago. i have heard of binghamton before, but im not sure where it is. rochester has no real maxima scene. i know of about 3 maxima ppl, one of em is stock.

ok do you wanna replace your catalyst or you wanna replace your y pipe because its tottaly different things now if you wanna buy a y pipe go to http://www.warpspeedperformance.com/ get the toll free number and tell them you want the maxima.org group deal its 160 SHIPPED. and i got charged 40 to install at a muffler shop. It looked pretty hard to install as i saw alot of welding/cutting action going on but many have done it on there own. now if u need a catalyst u can either get one from warpspeed also or get an oem off ebay.

 

ok with headers its not a DIY job from what i heard. and they charge around 200-400 to install i think as i said told 95supra go to http://www.warpspeedperformance.com/ and get the toll free number and get a ypipe for 160 TRUST ME you wont regret it as i just got one my self.

I'll be replacing the rear catalyst and the y-pipe. I bought the warpspeed off ebay last night for $200. Maybe I'll call them and see about that discount.

Have anyone ever had a problem passing inspection with this pipe? I would assume as long as I don't go to the stealership it would pass...they would know to look for the pre-cats.

 

just make sure to run the car for about 20 mins before inspection

 

its an old group deal about 3-4 months but i called a week ago and ordered and i just told them maxima.org group deal and was shiped in 3-5 days

 

few questions about the warp speed.......whats it made out of?.......for 160$ which model do i get?prob the 199$ one right? can i get a deal on the SS one cause im in snow country.........is it mandrel bent?.............does it have the lined flex section or any flex section at all?

aluminum?? not sure if u call they should know. model = 95-99 model unless ur a cali spec . no u cant get deal on ss thats for 199$. plus shipping i believe not sure on this one though so dont quote me. yes its mandrel bent it has a flex section not sure wut kind though

 

i bought a warpspeed y-pipe off of ebay and it did great things for my performance, especially in third gread.

 

definitley get rid of your stock, you will enjoy a non-restricting y-pipe, and the y-pipe that nick got.. really lloks like ****.. there are like 6 different parts welded together, and the welds dont look to strong... and from what he has told me, its completely quiet, just get the regular one i like the sound that mine gave me.. nice and throaty, makes it sound like an actual V6
