Headlight housing fried?
Headlight housing fried?
I have been running 45/65w nokya arctic purple bulbs for about a year. Two days ago I had a burnt out healight. I changed bulbs and the same light went out less than 1 day later. The only thing I noticed is that the inside of the connector for the headlight bulb had some grey discoloration within it. The wires look fine. What should I do to possibly check out the problem? Thanks
They appear burned. Should I just get higher wattage harness' off of ebay or somewhere else? They aren't that expensive and they would allow me to run a higher wattage bulb. Or is that a bad idea as well. Since I have to fix it, I want to make a wise decision. Any suggestions? Thanks
Well, you have two options. If you still want to run the noyka and other colored/ higher wattage bulbs, then you need to upgrade the harness.
If you don't mind going back to stock bulbs, then just either clean out or replace the harness end and go that route.
I burned out one of my harness ends, and just went back to stock lighting.
The po-po around here jump on you for any color change in the lights.
