Dash Reverse Glow Gauges Replacement

Hello,

I recently bought these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT and have gotten them in the mail today. I am having trouble installing them. I can't see to slide them through the needle and into the gauge spot because the middle thing that holds the needle has this spot that sticks out. Am I suppose to take out the stock gauges first and them put them on? How do I take out the stock ones because the needle seems to be attacked to the screws.

I have a 95 Maxima GLE. Does the dash gauges of the GLE differ from the SE besides the fact that the SE is white?

Thanks,
Horace

damn you hella overpaid for thoes.

dont take off the stock guages, and dont try to take off the needles. you just gotta stick the needle through the hole on the new guages and just slide them on. you might have to slightly bend the guages a little bit to get the needle to reach the hole. be careful when you do this. oh ya, get some really thin double sidded tape to get them to stay on there and not make the needles stick.

wow that's sweet. This one was the cheapest one I could find that I liked design wise.

Last question: Where do you hookup the 12V power source?

^^ you gotta get some SUPPER thin double sidded tape. like scotch double sided, or at the very least use a glue stick.

i thought about those, but decided not to risk it and mess up the calibration or what not. i'm now considering led gauge bulbs.

WLED-6 LED bulb
12 VDC 6-LED Wedge Base bulb (194/168 type)
Our brightest bulb of this type
Non Polarized

also these for turn arrows, keyhole light, and wht the heck reverse lights
