I havent driven the maxima in a little over a month and its driving terrible. At stops the entire car shudders and the SES light comes on randomly, blinks anywhere from 6-25 then goes out for a 10sec-2min and then does it again. I never get a solid SES light. Car seems slower than i remember as well, but that may be just in comparison to my truck. Any ideas or info would be appreciated

Your Max is a '99 so it sounds like an ignition coil is dying out, and this is common on '99 ... ask any '99 Max owner

When the light blinks it means that something serious it wrong.....you better read the faqs, pull your codes and find out whats going on.
