Starting Problem

So Yesterday I was noticing my idle was around the 1k mark even when it was fully warmed up. So I decided to open the hood and remember something about a idle screw so turned the screw near the throttle body yesterday night and this morning when I tried to start the car it started to start then stumbled and died.

Did I do something wrong?

Only way to start the car was to give it some gas. Prior to this I didn't have a problem starting. Also I've been noticing that my key needs to be held down all the way before it starts. Could this be fixed?

Thanks.
