Vibration through gas pedal when suspension unloads... ideas?

I've been noticing a vibration through the accelerator from time to time. ('97 GLE Auto, 111k). Its usually most noticeable loading the engine to climb hills and hitting slight bumps in the process. As the suspension unloads I can feel a vibration through the pedal. Sometimes it comes and goes as the weight of the car settles onto the susp. and then unloads again over a bump.

Could this be the CV joints? They're the only thing that I could think of that would be tied into the movement of the front suspension. Or am I completely off and its something different?

any help is appreciated.
