strut bar problem...
I was going to install my front strut tower bar but the screws seem stuck and some of them are worn down. i tried using 9/16 wrench but it was a little too big and 1/2 is too small. what do you guys suggest i use to get these screws out? or where can I go to get them out cheap? i called this place called procare but they werent helpful at all. so frustrating...
any help would be appreciated. thanks~

I belive those are 18mm bolts in there, if you can get a 18mm socket it should be a perfect match, then you'll just need the strength of 10 men to break it lose.
I like the break bars sold in autozone, 2 foot rubber grip break bar. you could use that and get it off in less than a min.
if your like me sometimes you could use it and take it back
I only did that as a last resort for my brothers F**kin knock sensor, I was leaving to come back to school so he needed it fixed, and I wouldnt let him take it somerewhere to get fixed when I can do it free.

oh damn sorry I'm thinking of a different set of bolts (on the struts themselves sorry)
if that was a little too big then a 14mm should be what you need depending on how much bigger maybe a 13mm (if they make that size)

I'm about 5' 10" and 130 pounds.
And I had the correct METRIC socket and about a foot long bar on the end of it. I pulled with all my might and the nuts came loose.
A couple days before I dripped "Mystery Oil" all over the nuts/bolts. That way, the nuts would unscrew easier.
After that, torque the nuts up to 30 - 40 ft/lbs.
