i really like that. its clean but yet gives a unique appearence, good job. also spend a few bucks to get chrome turn signal lights for your clear corners so they dont have the orange in them. it will finish off the look of your front end and its cheap.

Are the chrome lights amber?
I was thinking about getting them.
Thanx for feedback!

It took me couple days to make.
I took the grille off the car and just cut mesh grille. And I used a fishing line to tie it to the grille.
But it's really time consuming project, my back still hurts

yeah amber light is emitted from a chrome painted bulb so you cant see them in clear lenses. check your local autozone or car place they should carry them.

An all white grill...Beautiful! Nice job. I'm lovin it and if I could suggest one thing it would be to paint the inner burger circles in the logo to the white as well to make it stand out even more IMO, but still keep the emblem chrome of course. Once again tho, great job.

PS: Lovin the white wiper blades too! Too bad you don't have fogs...

The driver side one was an aftermarket headlight. But I think it was made by Depo

I can't tell if it's silver or white. If it's just the metal, give a clear coat cuz it'll rust.......like mine.

anyways, looks good. immediately enhances the sportiness of the car in person.

I agree, there are some spots... but still. mesh grilles are hard to do, so I give u props for taking all that time to put and measure that thing out... its still a solid job though, just not perfect

I highly agree, black would look way better and would flow w/ the front end much nicer.

Overall it looks good. Bottom half is done better than the top half. Re-cut a piece for the top half.

Black mesh side view looks fine:

but I'd forget about painting the mesh black. You'll see everything underneath.

Looks good. I have to redo mine cause of Chicago street salt caused some rust spots. I'm going to clear coat mine when I do it next time. Then again this is a very old old thread

I've since gone back to silver. Just preferred to have more contrast in the front.

Yeah I did this mod a long time back. It's actually not that bad on time. I did it one rainy night while I watched tv. I did the rest of the openings as well. It's cheap and looks good in person.

may be doing gunmetal paint soon.
