Battery Help???

Battery Help???

i have an optima red top battery and my stock positive and negative cables do not fit on the posts set on the battery my negative cable keeps coming off when i heat up my car and take it around the block since i have a few more months to wait before i get my privelege to drive back but if someone knows how to fix this problem please help

Why dont you just get new terminals for the cables??????

?? my terminals seem ok i just dont get why they dont fit and how would i get smaller ones?
