Just recently I replaced my serpentine belts. During this operation I noticed that the belts would fit fine without the a/c pump. The stock belt length is 43 inches. I bought a 36 in and it fit fine without the a/c. Would by-passing this cause any problems besides not having an air conditioner? What would be the gains of this mod? What about coupling this mod with UR's UDP, would there any side-effects that would be bad?

There is no significant gain to be had by making this mod. Reasons ...
- the A/C compressor clutch is disengaged when the A/C is switched off.
- the A/C compressor clutch is automatically disengaged when you "floor" the gas pedal.
