So I painted my grill about a month ago. Didn't think it would brave the cold and the blizzard we had a couple weeks ago. Car is dirty and the quality is horrible, but I decided to post pics and see what you all thought. I used Krylon Fusion and duplicolor clear, 6 coats, 4 coats. I just couldnt get over how my black paint, then the chrome grill, and then the gold emblem would just clash.

only ny/ny/ct will truly understand what this blizzard bs does to a car. I also live near a construction zone. I washed, wetsanded 800..1500, then painted. I taped off the smaller grill pieces so they wouldn't show as much. Thinking of dremeling them off altogether.

 

Look at my sig.. when i did my 97 front conversion i painted my grill I love it!!
so much better than a 95/96 grille. if they had a brushed allumnim stock grill i might have gotten that.. since i beleive chrome belongs on Classic cars.
