Brake Pad Question...

...You know the magic weapon when it comes to automatics, right?

Torque Braking @ launch.

In the past I could lay on the gas pedal all the way down and my brakes would hold.

Today I tried and my car slipped forward.

Although I would like to think that my car somehow gained a lot of low end power from all of my bolt on's... so much that my brakes can't hold on to all the ponies now... I'm realizing that my brake pads just suck.

I think I just got the cheap lifetime warranty pads, which is funny cuz I no longer live anywhere near the store that was providing the warranty. heh...

Which pads should I get?

I'd go for the Raybestos Quiet Stops. They're in my car right now and I've had no complains about them. They have good stopping power are not too costly.

You can check the pressure of the brake force with a meter. Your brakes should put out about 1200PSI.

Get a set of TRW pads, they have amazing initial bite.

Also check the stickies and it will tell you the brakes you should use and check the group deals section for good ideas on how to purchase them.
