very strange window switch problem, need help!

aight so i installed blue leds in my window switches this weekend and everything looks great and preforms flawlessly except for one problem. now my car litterally wont lock itself. you know how normally when you turn your car on the car locks? well it doesnt do that. and when i push the lock button on the window switch it will lock but then unlocks itself. even when i physically push the drivers lock in the door to lock, it will immieditly unlock itself. WTF.

a little background- i bought my car used and im pretty sure that the guy that had it before my lost all his keys and and key fob and everything and instead of just buying a new fob the guy replaces the whole alarm system (a cheap one) and a cheap key fob that controls- unlocking, locking, and turning the alarm on. so when i pulled my switch assembly out i could see the wires that im assuming they tapped into to get to the power lock and unlock with their own connectors- its a green wire with a red tracer for one, and a green wire with a yellow tracer for the other. also ive noticed in the past that sometimes after driving around when i turn off the car the car does unlock itself but locks itself again right after that. so its been happening in the past but now i have lost all power over locking my car.

whats going on, and what can i do?
