My OBD II is not working
I just bought an Actron OBD II Pocketscan, and when i turned the car on and plugged it in, I got nothing. I doubled checked on my brothers 04 Altima to see if it was the scanner, but it worked on his. So I removed the panels around the area, and looked around to see if the wiring was fine, everything was fine. The only thing I could see was a little yellow clip hanging there with 2 wires coming out of it, one being yellow. Is there anything else I can do to get it working?
Thanks

OBD II Pics
I plugged it into the socket on the left side of the dash, here are some pics of the loose clip and the socket. The clip might be part of my viper 791xv, but I'm not sure. I'm not 100% sure, but the clip joins with the OBD II harness and both go into the main engine harness.

That yellow wire that you see could be the one that connects to the plug underneath your steering wheel cover that beeps when your light is on when you exit your car.I never noticed a beep till I found a wire set like the one you're talking about and plugged it in.Then the car beeps if the lights are on with the door open.I'm not 100% but I'll check.
