I have a 96 GXE and I just bought a Tokico blues Shocks and springs kit.
If the car originally comese with struts what will the difference be on the install, also any how-to links would be great

Side note: anyone know where to find the smoked cefiros I just saw those for the firsttime and they're hard as ****

Nothing, you'll take the stock ones off, and put the new ones on. Check out the how-to's sticky on page 1. If you're going lower than 2" you might want to invest in a camber kit. Smoked cefiros, check group deals forum. Welcome to the org.

you dont need a camber kit if your going lower than 2", you'll know you'll need a camber kit if you got to get your car aligned and they cant get it withing spec then most likely you'll need a camber kit other than that, just new struts springs and you'll be fine. you could replace some bushing and such while your at it but that another thread all together . . .

Well I took my Tokico Blues and Tokico Springs to a mechanic who works at the Ford Dealership, My friend's the service manager and he hooked me up w/ this guy for a sidejob for $200... good deal??
But anyway the mech. said there's no way to adjust the rear wheels after drop so I could end up with excessive tire wear. He said I should ask if there's any rear toe adjustment and camber caster kit

there were a few thread I read where people were able to ge the rear adjusted into spec, but I believe in a couple of cases if they couldnt get it into spec ( and it was a good shop aligning the car) then camber bolts were needed, I believe there are some type of kits for the rear but I dont know off the top of my head.

$200 aint bad for the install. just inspect all the original parts and replace what needs to be.

no no no no no! 4th gens have a sold rear axle! you cannot change the camber ever.
