does aynbody know if the outer sections of the I30 tails (97-99) are a direct fit for the maxima tails... I want to swap them in so that I have the clear tail mod without having to mess up another set of tail lights. I am very upset because I just messed up both of my outer tails attempting to clear them out... the first one was coming out fine and then just shattered. and the second one (after about 4 hours of work was looking fine and then cracked when I was pushing it back into the car.

the I30s look to be a direct swap, but i want to be sure...

i already ordered a replacment for the one ($60)... but I dont even want to mess with this mod anymore for fear of breaking another one..

 

Nope, the I30 tail lights are a little different, the fenders and tail lights are cut differently. Also if you did do this it would have to be a custom job and your tail lights would look weird because the I30's tails 98+ are diamond cut. So you would have one diamond cut tail and one regular tail lens.

where did u get your super charger and your headlights from. i have a 1996 i30t 5 speed that i am hooking up

 

Yep it is a direct bolt on.
