What a beautiful difference with the Fstb on...i love it already from the highway to the back roads its awsome but i have a few questions..

-- i had to bend the bracket, not the alluminun tube, for the A/C line that comes up the passenger side of the car...i bent it back toward the engine so the FSTB doesnt winde up rubbing through the A/C line...normal or what ?

-- The FSTB goes accross the engine and lies up against the tubes going accross the top of the engine...any long turm effects or not to worry, wont rub to bad... and what should i do..

thanks..

Thats the bar I have. I asked same question and people told me to bend down that tube as well. Though i have quickly looked under the hood, i have not bent it down yet, can you tell me which one, exactly where, and if u can take a picture. I remember seing a metal tube almost touching the bar is that it?
thanks

Im talking the a/c line running up the left side (as you stand looking at the engine) of the engine. Its the A/c line that all i did was bend the bracket inward toward the engine so the fstb doesnt wear through the a/c line

The tube im talking about is directly in the center of the engine. There all rubber like air tubes that im probly not goin to worry to much about...no biggy ...if they can withstad the temp. of the engine they i think can stand a little rubbing ??

i just installed procarparts.com's fstb and there is contact with that tube, the ac pipe, and the throttle cables. i stuffed some leftover air conditioner weatherseal foam from my interior rattle-elimination project between the bar and any possible rubbing points. i am going to buy some rubber foam tomorrow to replace the ac weahterstripping foam.
