What Brake Combo ???

Im tossed up on what to Buy considering the Pads and Rotors so I posted up cause I figured this is the best place..

I wanted X-Drilled matched up Raybestoes QS but I dont know how that will perform..I want performance as well as longevity as well. Im definetly gonna go with SS-Lines but I cant decide on Pads or what type of rotor..

Ive heard many other brands of Pads being tossed around so I Have no idea

I was also maybe thinking blanks with raybestoes. ?? what does everything think ??

i have the QS paired with my stock rotors, and although they arent incredible, they did manage 75-0 in less than 150 feet... and im awfully lucky they did.

I have brembo replacement rotors, and akebono pro act ceramic pads. Very happy with the braking. Less brake wear, and more bite when you first hit the brake pedal. they have a group deal on brembo rotors that are zinc coated, which seem great, but i had already ordered my rotors when i saw that group deal, or i would have jumped on that. I have also heard that unless you are using your car for racing or autox that the cross drilled rotors dont do much more than look nice and cause your pads to wear down quicker.

Im planning on doing the Cobra rotors w/ 300z calipers. Im guessing there are slotted/drilled Cobra rotors available too, but probly more expensive than for Maximas.

i put organic pad up front and QS in the rear; both from raybestos

the organic pads are great because they give great bite even before warming up, and with heavy 18's that a good thing

How are the Axxis Ultimates ??

Do the Axxis Metal Masters dust a significant amount ?

I was thinking of going with Slotted rotors and Axxis Utlimates or Metal Masters

Powerslot rotors and Hawk HPS pads. Some serious bite. I highly reccomend Hawk pads. Pretty much all I use in my cars now.

Most places won't resurface x-drilled or slotted rotors. That might be something to think about.

You should consider like 300z calipers, and cobra rotors, or nissan maxima 2k4 rotor upgrade.

Whats needed for the 300ZX caliper and Cobra Rotor Upgrade ??
I would assume 300zx calipers, Cobro rotors and some kinda plate thats used to upgrade them for the maxima...
Where is all of it bought ?
Will my 96' SE 15" rims fit any more ??
How much difference in price am I lookin at ??

Cobra rotor upgrade you'll need...

Cobra rotors, 300zx calipers, relocation bracket from Jeff or Matt, and hub rings from candiman...

You will need ATLEAST 17's
