What would be the best way to go regardless of price?

1. Place Racing
2. Energy Suspension inserts
3. OEM motor mounts
4. other

place racing seems to be the most rough, with one person even having his melt, however it may have just been a defective one. I just recieved my ES motor mounts (oem mounts with the es already pressed into them) I am very very anxious to get them installed but that probably won't get done for at least 2 - 3 weeks oh well

You can take the brackets off the car but you would need a really good hydraulic press to do everything yourself. Otherwise you need to bring the brackets to a shop.

PR is no longer made.

I recently installed ES motor mounts. I love them. A very soft vibrate at idle, you won't really notice it unless you look for it. If you have a rough idle then you will notice it though. Traction is much improved. Mine were blown and I think they were worth every penny.

Has anyone filled their own with Polyurethene? If so, how do they feel and do they work well?

StephenMax has and he makes them from time to time and sells them.
I have a set installed and can honestly say, they rule.
Ive gone through two sets of motor mounts.
The first set were replaced with OEM. When they died, StephenMax made me the poly items. The feel so much better. The car feels so much more solid. Take offs are firmer and the car to me feels more responsive. I may have noticed such a huge difference being that mine were completly toast prior to the poly. ones.

i have the es ones installed as well, just got them in today as a matter of fact. I must say the hard 1-2 shift yeilds ALOT more useable traction, the car just grabs the gear and sticks to the road no wheel spin like with the stock crap mounts

Well frosty bought them for me through the Cattman intro deal. You can get them through there or for cheaper or the same price at www.suspension.com/nissancars.htm They are great and I have gotten other poly urethane stuff from them.

The install was a bit more than I had hoped. I didn't shop around enough and I was in a hurry and I got a local shop that I knew would do it (known for being a quality shop that does performance stuff but can be pricey) and they charged me $100 to press them in. It is still cheaper than OEM or PR ones with install but you can find shops that will do both for $50-80. To get the whole thing done normally costs more. They quoted me something like $250 or something crazy.

The motor mounts on your car should be fine unless the housing is cracked.

1fstmax how did you install motormounts in 20 minutes? All the shops say it takes like 7 hours.

Yeah air tools would help a lot. It is not horribly hard.

Installation is easy. Raise the car up on jack stands, support the engine from the top, remove the motor mount through bolts, remove the crossmember, remove old mounts from x-member, bolt new ones on, then do the opposite of removal.

Are you guys only replacing the front and rear mounts? How come not the left and right mounts?

the front and rear are the ones that effect traction, i think the left and right mounts are just there for supporting the engine, and stability.
