funny story...bought it from a guy in indiana about 20 min away from my house....my friend dropped me off up there to pick it up and It took me like and hour to drive it home because I had never driven a 5 spd before...

 

95 5 speed gxe for 3600 last june...with 126k miles, factory serviced on every list on the maintenance manual. car ran like a beast.

then i start to mod and abuse: timing chain tensioners, water pump, rear main seal, and various seals are all worn off. i end up swapping a lower milage engine into the car, keeping and adding more mods...

also:

younger brother: 95 auto 109k miles for $1000, did a engine swap for additinal $2k.
youngest brother: 96 auto gle at 180k miles for $3800, got 204k miles now and still runs like a beast.
girlfriend: 97 auto 98k miles for $4700, bone stock, runs good.
girlfriend's sister: 95 auto 125k miles for $3500, leaking oil, but runs good.

Just bought today to replace my totaled 97.
This guy even kept a log of every gas fill up,(what gas station and octane put in, always premium but either 93 or 92, 94,91 octane, kept mpg for every tank) now thats some record keeping.

Paid $5995 in July 2003, 151,000mi. 1997 SE, 5MT, moonroof, Bose, cruise, power driver seat... No ABS, no leather.

At the time it was the only 5-speed to be found, well the only advertised one at least....

164,XXX miles, paid $5,000 last month for it. Some say I was crazy buying a car with that many miles. It doesn't bother me. I got what I wanted. Runs great. I don't feel bad putting 70 miles a day on it to and from work.

I hated putting miles on the 02 Altima 3.5 5-speed (the Silver Bullet). Now the wife drives it 6 miles a day to and from class.

I got mine in May 2004 for 8500. It had 56000 miles and everything was in perfect condition.

picked it up back in 98 with 26,000
for about 16g.

now the sucka got 91....yeah i said it 91,xxx miles and still runs very well!

 

picked up my 95 automatic, with 120,xxx km (not miles) for $2000 canadian, needed rear struts and tires. bought a warranty from the place for $300.00 which completely rebuilt my tranny 3months after purchase (ive got a receipt for $1800.00 for the transmission work). Car is still running strong at 190,000km
