Man do the Red/Clears yourself and save the money. I did mine last night it took about 45 minutes.
He can't make the red/clears himself he has a 95. And he'll pay out the *** for red/clears as well.
It's hard, but you just have to budget your money. If I wasn't in a band, my car would be a lot farther than where its at now. I have saved a bunch of money, because I have done all the installs myself except for the ypipe.
Just hang in there, work some hours, and budget your money accordingly and you can afford your mods.

o man i feel the pain. im still in high school and only make 8.75. i have lots of bills like u, high insurance (gotta love NJ), im starting to think about giving up on modding. cant wait til the summer though im going to be doing detailing on the side so hopefully i will have enough people getting me to do details so that maybe i can get my rims, well atleast hopefully it will help. right now i had to give up on them because there are so many things i would rather fix on my car first.
im pretty happy at the rate my modding is going... like everybody else i wish i had more money. but o well. im making $10.10 an hour and i only work 1-2 days a week, im just waitin for the summer to roll by. insurance rapes us young males of our money. but im paying through my parents so its not that bad

Dude, your car wont change over nite no matter how much money you have. I realize you want to do mods to it, same w/ me. Spend your money wisely....dont let your car take all of it. Becuase it sure as hell CAN - but then you're broke.
College student doing a Co-op, nice work experiance, and 40hrs a week at 15 an hour isn't that bad ... Though I just spent my entire first paycheck on a trip to cancun for the summer, so now I'll have to wait until next paycheck
Though I really don't know what mod I really even want (scary!) Might end up getting some rims I think..

hey just turned 18 the other day and i kno how it feels-but i put a lot of money in my car so far and it will never stop-i figure i have about 5k in my car so far and i just spent another grand about -on a new stillen aero kit which is comin next week- yea high school blows and insurance sucks 2 but like posted b4 just grow and deal drugs lol j/p
Not to be too patronizing but when you get older you'll realize that all the money you spent modding your car was money taken straight from your low dollars/hour job and thrown immediately and summarily in the toilet.
wouldnt it suck for those of you college and hs kids who have spent thousands of dollars for you car then to just have it totaled by someone who wasnt paying attention..
its something to think about. im in high school and like all of you i dont have as much money as i would like for my car, but what i do have i spend accordingly. im doing all the mods that will improve the car but not go overboard. also try doing all the cheap mods that you can first. right now im doing a complete blue led conversion to my interior and i dont expect to spend over $30 on the entire project. but when its done it will look far more then just a $30 job.

yup....might as well put in my 2 cents....college....you get no time to do mods. Work full time in the summer, one day a week during the school year @11.25/hr. I dont get a whole lotta money either, i guess you gotta wait and put your school in front of the car. In my opinion, the maxima looks fine and runs just fine when its stock...sure you can get all the stuff for it to make it better, but then again....if you're spending all that time modding, what are you doin for school? what you do in school affects the rest of your life...modding can wait. thats what i think...
Seriously, I am fighting right now to clear mine up, its a long sad story but lucky me, I am able to get it cleared up and get it completely cleaned off my credit. Take it from me keep it clean cause you'll need it for school loans, future cars, houses, cell phones.
Man I value credit so much more now. . .

me being part time: $375/half year
