DTC 0510 is detected when the signal from the Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor does not reach the expected maximum voltage threshold value. The possible causes include ...
- Harness or connectors (the sensor circuit is open or shorted.)
- Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor
- Fuel pressure
- Fuel injectors
- Intake air leaks
thanks so much daniel. i said this before, but i think the fact that i have a bad catalytic converter has something to do with this. a new one is being shipped to me and should be here by Thursday according to UPS, so hopefully by this weekend i'll have a new cat. one more question though, once i put this new catalytic converter on, and assuming it fixes the error, will the service engine soon light go off or do i still have to manually turn it off??
thanks
