i read the write up on vqpower.com of how to tint the tail lights using red tape. Taking the lights out to tamper with them seems too complicated for me right now and the tape seems fairly simple. my question is if anyone has tried this and what they think of it , or any pictures

Don't use the tape. Go get some red testors transparent and put a couple of coats on it.

 

im about to do mine this weekend if i get the time. i'll have plenty left over so if u need some i can sell u a couple of sheets.

 

i donno, im still skeptical about it. I need to see all the options that i can do myself

 

Look at my tails(for example) i used transparent candy apple red paint on the outside of the taillight.

 

Will it have a problem during inspection if theres no amber on the tails? I know some cars don't even have amber on the tails but i don't know.

 

Just tell them that is the way it came from the factory if they ask. Buy some stickers saying Super Deluxe Edition or something then take it off after the inspection.
