Is it like a suttle type of noise that happens only when you turn the wheel? I may have the same issue. I can only here it when im inside the car, if someone turns the wheel and im outside i cant hear it.

Russ, take a close look at the power steering drive belt. It might be slipping slightly under a load when you accellerate. That could cause your power steering system to judder. I can't see how the mount bushings would cause any noise. If they were loose, your rack would move slightly giving you a bit of road wonder.

Inspect the lower control arm bushings, engine mounts and the rack. Take a look at your upper strut mounts as well. I'm still not so sure the rack bushings would cause any sort of noise. If the rack gets loose, you'll know it for sure, as the steering gets really funky.

EDIT: Have you had any work done to your axles lately? Could be a bad CV joint as well.
