Interior modifications?

I saw some accord and BMW cars had this mod, when you open the door, at the bottom of car it had a chrome or aluminium bar with words engraved either BMW or ACCORD, I am curious if it is possible to order same thing for our Maxima? because mine got so dirty and full of scratches from all of exits and enterings into car, cannot wash it away!

Looks like it was taken from Infiniti????????? If yes, i will probably go to local junk yards to buy this stuff, just need to know exact name?
