motegi ff5's

im kinda new to rims, i know that maximas have a 5 lug pattern and that i want 18's. but what would be better or more compatible with a '95 maxima... an 18X8 or an 18X7? thanks
incase anyone was wondering, these are the rims i plan on getting http://www.wheelsforless.com/search...duct_ID=2351-88
and also, what size tires would i need? i would like to have the widest tires possible.
sorry about posting in this forum, but i posted this earlier today in the rims/tires forum and nobody replied
thanks again
